Public previews and member access
Selected profile previews may appear on Rehnuma's public website when the applicable profile and photograph visibility settings permit it. A public preview may include first name, age, city/state, profession, profile badges, who posted the profile and a photograph set to Visible to All. Full matrimonial profiles remain subject to Rehnuma's member access, membership and privacy controls.
Choose who sees your photographs
Choose one of four photograph settings: Visible to All, Visible to Premium & Signature members only, Visible after a proposal is accepted, or Hidden for all. Visible to All can include the public Rehnuma website. Other photographs remain subject to the privacy rule you choose and the platform's access controls.
Profiles created for another person require consent
A parent, sibling, family member or assisted-profile representative who creates or manages a profile for another adult must have that person's knowledge and consent to provide their information and photographs. If that authority is withdrawn, the representative should stop managing the profile and the affected person may contact Rehnuma for help.
What verification means
Verification indicates that a profile has passed the platform's review process. It is not a guarantee of identity, character, compatibility, family background or safety. Always make your own careful assessment and involve people you trust.
Mutual intention before messaging
A proposal must be accepted before a member-to-member conversation can begin. Treat every person with dignity. Harassment, impersonation, sexual content, solicitation, fraud and financial requests have no place here.
Report or block at any time
Use the report and block controls on a profile or in your conversation. Blocking restricts discovery and messaging between the two accounts. Reports are handled by authorised Rehnuma personnel for safety and moderation purposes.
Take your next step thoughtfully
Never send money, OTPs, PINs, banking passwords, identity documents or other sensitive information to another member. If you decide to meet, choose a safe public place, tell a trusted person and consider involving family or another trusted adviser.
Age eligibility
Rehnuma is not intended for children. As a platform eligibility rule, matrimonial profiles require women to be at least 18 years old and men to be at least 21 years old.
