Matrimonial purpose only
Rehnuma is a Muslim matrimonial platform intended for people genuinely seeking marriage/Nikah. It is not a dating, casual-chat, solicitation, escort, recruitment or commercial lead-generation service. Misrepresenting your purpose may result in restriction or removal.
Eligibility and age
You must be legally eligible to use the platform for matrimonial purposes. As a platform eligibility rule, Rehnuma requires women to be at least 18 years old and men to be at least 21 years old when creating a matrimonial profile. We may ask for information or documents reasonably required to review eligibility or identity.
Profiles created or managed for another person
If you create, submit or manage a profile for another adult, including as a parent, sibling, family member or through Rehnuma's assisted-profile service, you must have that person's knowledge and consent to provide and manage their personal information and photographs.
You must stop managing or supplying information for that profile if the person withdraws that authority. Rehnuma may ask for reasonable confirmation of authority or consent where needed for safety, privacy or dispute handling.
Accurate information
You must provide information that is truthful, current and not misleading. Do not impersonate another person, use another person's photographs without permission, fabricate qualifications or status, or intentionally conceal information in a way that makes your profile materially misleading. You are responsible for keeping your profile updated.
Public previews and photograph visibility
Some limited profile information may appear on Rehnuma's public website when the applicable profile and photograph visibility settings permit it. A public preview may include first name, age, city/state, profession, profile badges, who posted the profile and a photograph where that photograph is set to Visible to All.
Full matrimonial profiles and member-only information remain subject to Rehnuma's access controls, membership rules and privacy settings. You are responsible for choosing the visibility setting appropriate for you.
Matching and recommendations
Rehnuma may use profile information, partner preferences and relevant service interactions to rank or recommend profiles and provide compatibility insights. These tools are intended to help discovery only. They are not a guarantee of compatibility, identity, character, family suitability or matrimonial outcome.
Profiles, proposals, messaging and moderation
Profile review, verification badges and moderation are platform safeguards, not guarantees of identity, character, compatibility, family background or future conduct. A proposal must be accepted before member-to-member messaging becomes available. Rehnuma may review, restrict, hide, reject or remove profiles, content or access that violates these Terms, safety rules or applicable law.
Respectful and lawful use
Harassment, sexual content, threats, hate, impersonation, spam, fraud, financial solicitation, attempts to bypass privacy controls, unlawful conduct and misuse of another member's personal information are prohibited. Members should involve trusted family or advisers where appropriate and use independent judgment before proceeding with a match or meeting another member.
Account security
Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the activity results from a platform security failure outside your reasonable control.
Your content and the licence needed to operate Rehnuma
You retain ownership of photographs, profile text and other content you lawfully submit. You grant Rehnuma a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, transmit and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide the Rehnuma service in accordance with your selected visibility settings and these Terms.
Paid plans and renewal
Paid features, duration and price are shown before payment. Rehnuma's current paid plans are purchased for a fixed duration and do not renew automatically. When a plan expires, you must actively purchase another plan if you want continued paid access.
Unless a mandatory legal right or remedy applies, successfully purchased and activated paid plans are non-refundable. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy before purchase.
Privacy and personal data
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, the purposes for which it is used, public and member-only visibility, service providers, retention, correction, deletion and grievance options. Photograph visibility controls are separate from profile visibility.
No marriage or match guarantee
Rehnuma provides discovery, recommendation, proposal and communication tools. We do not promise that you will receive proposals, receive replies, find a compatible person, become engaged, marry or achieve any particular outcome. Decisions to communicate, meet, proceed with a proposal or marry are made by the members and families involved.
Suspension, deletion and retained records
You may request account deletion from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, safety risks, fraud, misuse or legal requirements. When an account is deleted, active profile and account-linked data is removed through our deletion process, while limited payment, fraud-prevention, security, moderation, consent or legal records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary and may be de-linked from the active account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when the service, law or platform practices change. Material changes may be presented for renewed acceptance or acknowledgement. Where acceptance is recorded, the relevant policy version may be retained as an audit record.

Where applicable, grievances will be acknowledged and handled within the timelines required by Indian law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to rights and forums that cannot lawfully be excluded, courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction.
